Latincoat & Adhesives 2010 - Event concluded
with great success
Latincoat & Adhesives 2010, in São Paulo, was a
major success, with highly qualified audiences and
focus on the paint and adhesive industries.
Held by Agnelo Editora from October 26 to 29 at
Espaço APAS, the trade show brought together 1,448
visitors in its exhibit space, including professionals
from paint companies, suppliers to the industries
and all businesses related to paints, industrial coa-
tings, printing inks, construction chemicals, adhesi-
ves and sealants.
The highlight of Latincoat & Adhesives 2010 was its
set of high-end lectures on the advances and new
technologies of the segments involved, following the
world trend towards sustainability. The number of
registered attendees to the Congress exceeded Agnelo
Editora’s expectations, reaching around 380 people.
At the exhibit space, companies showcased their
most recently launched raw materials, machines and
production, application and laboratory equipment.
In his opening speech, Agnelo Editora’s CEO Agnelo
de Barros Neto addressed the importance of putting
together trade shows like Latincoat & Adhesives
2010. “It is very important to have a venue for the
entities, companies and professionals of the paint
industry to assemble, so that we can contribute
more and more to the growth and knowledge of our
business. And this is why Agnelo Editora is carrying
on with its mission and vocation by supporting and
organizing any and all kinds of events which can
develop or help to develop the industry. In addition,
knowledge is essential for the country to grow. I be-
lieve that education is just as important as healthca-
re and security. There are rather bright prospects for
growth in Brazil over the years to come, but we also
need to grow in terms of knowledge and education,
and that takes investment. Consistent with Agnelo
Editora’s mission and vocation, we are going to hold
more and more events to stimulate knowledge, inclu-
ding the 1st and 2nd Regional Forums scheduled for
March and April of 2011, respectively.”
Barros also expressed his gratitude toward all of the
entities who supported the show, its sponsors, and
the Latincoat & Adhesives 2010 Technology Board.
