is going to exhibit the aumatica

of volumetric dispensers. “We’re
also exhibitng the new optional
sets that we can install on all of
our machines to add capacity
and reduce labor requirements.
In addition, Arquímica’s additives
and materials division will intro-
duce our new represented com-
pany Isca UK, especially with the
Iscathix SR rheology additive and
the Corriguard 4316 anticorrosive
additive, both of which feature ex-
cellent performance and hold an
environmental appeal to the paint

Ashland Specialty
Ingredients
Ashland Specialty Ingredients is
going to exhibit its comprehen-
sive range of rheology modifiers
and specialty additives for paints
and coatings at Abrafati 2011.

Ashland’s Natrosol HEC (hydroxye-
thylcellulose) has been recognized
as industry-leading technologies

tent thickening in both interior
and exterior paints, while provi-
ding excellent color acceptance,
color development and viscosity
retention upon tinting. We’ll be
highlighting our Natrosol HE 3KB
modified hydroxyethylcellulose,
which is specifically engineered to
provide outstanding in-can feel,
brushability, flow and leveling,
and biostability across the enti-
re range of popular latex binder
systems. With Natrosol HE 3KB,
formulators get a high-efficiency
thickener that significantly im-
proves in-can feel, applied hiding
and spatter resistance, as well as
other desired application proper-

In addition, Ashland will be
promoting new varieties of its
Aquaflow and AquaflowXLS non-
-ionic synthetic thickeners, which
also provide great dry-film hiding
power and efficient formulations.

dex surfactants that are capable
of replacing existing alkylphenol
ethoxylate-based technology while
providing an optimal balance of
wetting and flow improvement.
When used as a surface-active
additive to improve wetting and
flow, these phosphate ester sur-
factants effectively reduce surface
tension. Another reason for you

trates); Surfata PTI 77066 and
Surfata PTI 77067 (silicon additi-
ves with surface with medium and
high reduction in surface tension
to solvent-based systems, without
solvent and waterborne systems);
