Interview - Modern and Distinguished
Hipercor, a company headquartered in Fortaleza, Ceará, and part
of the Edson Queiroz Group, operates by the principle of develop-
ing and producing top-quality products with state-of-the-art
technologies in the world market for decorative paints. Originating
in a waterborne paint plant formerly known as Nacional Arco-Íris
and currently as Tintas Hipercor, the company has one of the most
modern industrial sites for the segment that it serves. It is focused
on assuring and conforming responsiveness in supplying customers
with differentiated products.
Silvany Dantas, head director at Hipercor, stresses the com-
pany’s potential and ensures that it provides a quality service
in a responsible way. “To establish ourselves in the marketplace
as a differentiated company, we seek to carry out an optimum
distribution logistics service and fast deliveries at competitive
prices for the market we serve.”
According to Dantas, the company acknowledges that one of the
major challenges facing the paint industry today is adjusting
plants, processes and products for environmental compliance and
social accountability, and Hipercor has already standards and poli-
cies in place to address that.
Dantas stresses the responsibility involved in being part of a busi-
ness group that stands out for quality and respect for customers in
everything they do. “These concerns led Hipercor to adhere to the
‘Brazilian Habitat Quality and Productivity’ program, and it took
us just one year to be certified by the Industry-Specific Quality Pro-
gram (PBQP-H) for Decorative Paints administered by the Brazilian
Association of Paint Manufacturers (Abrafati),” Dantas remarks.
