Feitintas 2012 Preview - Companies Take
Opportunity to Showcase Latest Launches
For its 2012 edition, the paint and coatings trade fair Feitintas
has been restructured and expanded. Making it an internatio-
nal paint and coatings trade fair and symposium was a signi-
ficant step in this restructuring process, as new contents were
added to the trade show and its focus was set in furtherance
of three major goals: creating business opportunities, fostering
networking, and spreading knowledge and information. “To
draw the highly qualified visitors that our exhibitors want to
receive at their booths, we must have some points of difference
and high-end attractions. This is what leads professionals to
decide to visit any trade shows,” explains Abrafati’s CEO Dilson
Ferreira.
The program for the Symposium will certainly contribute to
bringing the target audiences to Feitintas, who will get to
know a number of application solutions for decorative paints
and automotive refinish as they see the products, accessories,
equipment and techniques that will be demonstrated at dozens
of booths.
Excited about the opportunities provided by the trade show,
exhibitors are getting ready to showcase the most important
of their innovative paints, coatings, complements, instruments
and application equipment.

Now there is some uncertainty about growth for the second
half, although the business tends to pick up because the demand
is usually stronger in this period. In fact, there are excellent

and construction, which will eventually boost the domestic de-
mand for decorative paint dispersions. For these reasons, acrylic
resin manufacturers remain optimistic, expecting the industry
