Celebration Time
The year’smuch awaited edition has come. TheMay
issue of Paint & Pintura Magazine unveils firsthand
thewinners of the 18th Paint & Pintura Awards in 51
categories, 38 of which comprising raw materials,
seven for the best seven paint companies in Brazil,
and six for thepersonalitiesof theyear. For thisyear,
two new categories have been added, one to sup-
pliers (Tinting Systems – Industrial Equipment), and
one topersonalities (Personality –Manufacturing).
Theawardpresentationceremony,which takesplace
onMay 09 at Espaço Vila dos Ipês, in São Paulo, has
an additional cause for celebration: the 18 years of
success of the Paint & Pintura Awards, which are
recognizedas the“Oscars”of thepaint andcoatings
industry.
ThePaint&Pinturasurvey,whichbeganonDecember
26, 2013andextendeduntilApril 10, 2014,hada record
numberof 124paintmanufacturersand245 suppliers
answering it at the twoof its stages.
