The current situation of Brazil’s economy is really not
whatwehadexpected. TheGDP (GrossDomesticProd-
uct)forecastfor2015hasgonedownfromzerotominus
0.42 percent, and this is the last information published
so far. For next year, however, expectations aremore
optimistic,andtheeconomywillcontinuerecovering.The
BrazilianGDP isexpected togrow 1.5percent for 2016.
Thiswillberegardedasayearofsurvival forthe industry
at large. For survival, it is very important for companies
to plan and implement strategic actions involving in-
vestment, innovation and new developments, thereby
turning customers on to their points of difference. This
is thebigkey for companies to stay inbusinesswithout
struggling toohard.
