Fluctuations intheeconomy leadanalyststobelievethat
the recession is very near the end based the evidence
available, includinggreater confidence that apick-up in

investors,businessmenandconsumers.“There’sahistori-
cal pattern that shows it takes three to sixmonths for
themarket’s confidence to reachbusinessmen and the

COALESCINGAGENTS - UNIQUE TECHNOLOGIES
Coalescentscontinuetodevelop intofriendlierproducts
forbothhumansand theenvironment. Lowodor, lower
toxicity and lower VOC are currently the chief require-
mentsofpaintmanufacturers.
Coalescingagentsaresolventsusuallypresent inwater-
borne paint, varnish and adhesive formulations. They
plasticize the polymer phase in paint, varnish and adhesive
formulations, reducingtheirTg(glasstransitiontemperature)
and favoring the formation of flush, homogeneous coating
films under various temperature and humidity conditions,
according to Silmar Barrios, R&Dmanager for paints and
coatings atOxiteno. “Coalescingagentsneed their solubility
