inSãoPaulo.Theawardsaregiven inrecognitionofthebeststeel
cans introducedoverthepasttwoyears,divided intofivecatego-
ries.Atthatsameevening,alsoawardedwasthenewreportthat
hasbest highlightedand representedBrazil’s steel can industry
duringtheperiod.
AccordingtoAbeaçoexecutivemanagerThaisFagury,theseawar-
dspraise theeffortsof steel packagingmanufacturers insearch
of innovationandpracticality,alwayskeepingtheendconsumer
inmind.“Theeventbroughttogethertheentiresteelpackaging
supplychain, thuscontributingtofosteringandencouragingthe
useofsteelcans,”Thaispointsout.

redinthecontest.Foreachofthesixcategories,threecontenders
wereselected,exceptfortheSustainabilitycategory.Theselection
offinalistsandchoiceofwinnerswerecarriedoutbyacommissioncon-
sistingofadesignagency, industry-specificentities,research institutes,
andauniversity.
