CLIPPING 6 | PAINT&PINTURA | Agosto 2018 SAVING THE BEST FOR LAST With another three events still left on our calendar for this year, the August issue of Paint & Pintura Magazine brings you firsthand the schedule of lectures on technical and management-related topics to be presented at the 37th Paint & Pintura Coatings Technology and Manage- ment Forum, Midwest Region, which is taking place on August 16 at the Mercure Goiânia hotel, in Goiânia, Goiás (Brazil). The event is going to be held there for the fourth time because it is one of the country’s most promising areas in terms of its business potential for building and construction and, as a result, for decorative and industrial coatings. Subsequently, in the month of September, it will be Criciúma, Santa Catarina’s turn to host the Paint & Pintura Forum. This issue also brings you readers a special piece on the 39th Paint & Pintura Latin American Coatings and Construction Chemicals Forumand Exhibition, Campinas Metropolitan Area, which is slated to take place on Oc- tober 3 and 4 at Royal Palm Tower Indaiatuba, located in the namesake town of Indaiatuba, São Paulo. The event comprises lecture presentations and a space set aside for showcasing innovations in rawmaterials, equipment and packaging materials from leading companies involved in the industry. The city picked out for the forum and exhibition is in one the country’s most developed areas, inwhich large andmedium-sizedmanufacturers of deco- rative, industrial and automotive coatings are concentrated. It is going to be a grand event and a major success, so much so that it has even secured sponsorship from top companies in the coatings supply chain, such as Brenntag, Carbono, Covestro, Croda, Elementis, the MAST Group, IMCD, Lanxess, MCassab, Mineração Serra Branca, quantiQ, Rentank, Rudnik, and Wacker. Also backing the event are the paint companies Skylack, Tintas Eucatex, Tintas Indutil, and TintasWEG, as well as the consulting firm Rácz, Yamaga & Associates. In a year that thus far has left much to be desired in the way of economic growth, we need to invest, to work twice as hard, to do our best. EVENTS - AGNELO EDITORA BANKS ON NEW FORMAT WITH PAINT & PINTURA FORUM AND EXHIBITION IN INDAIATUBA In addition to the traditional lectures on technical and management-related issues, the forumwill include booths for companies to exhibit their latest new developments and receive the visiting audiences. Riding on a somewhat favorable climate in the industry, the 39th Paint & Pintura Forum has been redesigned and dubbed Paint & Pintura Latin American Coatings and Construction Chemicals Forum, Campinas Metropolitan Area, to be held on October 3 and 4 at Royal Palm Tower Indaiatuba, in the town of Indaiatuba, São Paulo (Brazil). While introducing their new developments through the lectures scheduled for the two-day event, the participating compa- nies will also have a special space set aside so that they can demonstrate and discuss those developments and receive the audiences attending the forum. In 2016, that same region hosted an edition of the Paint & Pintura Forum in the city of Campinas, which was hugely successful with a total 197 registered attendees taking part in discussions about the paths being followed by the paint and coatings industry in terms of market development, formula- tions, regulations and sustainability.
