The Paint & Pintura Forums held by Agnelo Editora, for example, have been delivering very strongly. From the first to the 43 rd edition, they have had a total of 5,137 registered attendees, according to a survey conducted by Agnelo Editora’s polling team. These events have seen a significant increase in turnout, especially over the past couple of years. In 2019, audiences grew 56 percent in Joinville, Santa Catarina, 46 percent in Recife, Pernambuco, 24 percent in Caxias do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul, and 11 percent in Vitoria, Espirito Santo. Last year saw attendance increase by 35 percent in Campinas, São Paulo, 14 percent in Criciuma, Santa Catarina, 13 percent in Novo Hamburgo, Rio Grande do Sul, 7 percent in Londrina, Paraná and Fortaleza, Ceará, and 6 percent in Goiania, Goias. The survey includes a breakdown of attendance figures by region. In the Brazilian South, for example, we have had 1,620 registered attendees to this day. In theNortheast we had 1,456 attendees, plus 1,390 attendees in the South region and 671 in theMidwest. These results increasingly demonstrate how im- portant it is to spread the news from the industry over Brazil’s several regions, as well as how much interest exists. This is Agnelo Editora’s mission, andwewill keep pursuing it through technical presentations fromkey supplies of rawmaterials and equipment, as well as lectures onmanagement-related issues, which contribute to the coatings world. The latest Paint & Pintura Forum was held in Caxias do Sul on August 8, at Hotel Intercity Caxias do Sul, which also had a great turnout thanks to the great interest drawn by lectures from suppliers like BASF, Brenntag, MAST, Eastman, Bomix, Stahl Polymers, Covestro, Univar Solutions andDow. One other major drawwas the Panel of CEOs, featuring coatings industry leaders, who addressed the theme “Management Macro- -Trends for the Next Decade: New Pathways of the Industry.” On the coming pages, you will find our full coverage of that event, as well as the schedule of lectures for the next forum, which is taking place on September 12 in Curitiba, Paraná. Before wrapping up for this year, Agnelo Editora is holding a Paint & Pintura Forum for the South Region on November 6 and 7, in the city of Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo. It will be a two-day event filled with lectures and innovation for local professionals. And the pièce de résistance for the year will be ABRAFATI 2019, the industry’s leading event in Latin America, which is taking place on October 1 st through 3 rd at Expo São Paulo. This 16 th edition is featuring more than 220 exhibitors and 90 lectures, aswell as dozens of papers at the Poster Session and a seminar on radiation curing.
