ABRAFATI PREVIEW 60 | PAINT&PINTURA | Outubro 2019 ADEXIM-COMEXIM Adexim-Comexim is preparing for Abrafati 2019 with a very positive outlook. “The country is once again promoting entrepreneurs and the paint industry is a segment that has been preparing to grow back, using a lot of technology and process optimization. Technology 4.0 will be present at our booth through equipment and products. We will not miss the opportunity to bring the best of our industry in this resumption of growth,” says Director Carlos H.S. Russo. In the area of raw materials, the company will showcase new products developed for the paint world by its main representatives. “We will be introducing products that streamline our customers’ processes, reducing the power required to cure, and other quality features that the industry seeks. For environmental care and limitations on solvent use, we have a variety of products and additives to assist in the optimal solution. In the equipment area, we will launch the 4.0 Technology QUV – Accelerated Weathering Chamber, with logical process control, which facilitates the programming and control of the tests, with lower main- tenance costs and more accurate results. In addition, our Colorcheckers - color control booths - will bring news in the Desk, Fly, and Executive versions,” says Russo. AGRO QUÍMICA MARINGÁ Agro Química Maringá will promote Oxiteno’s line of propylics, a neutralizing agent from Arkema and a plasticizer from Axcentive, says José Antonio da Costa, Marketing Manager. “Oxiteno’s propylic line is a new generation of propanol-derived molecules marketed under the brand name Ultrasolve H. Focusing on the flexo and gravure market, we can highlight the Ultrasolve H 2400 (propyl glycol), which presents excellent performance in the final print quality, excellent competitiveness, and low toxicity. Alpamine N41 produced by Arkema is a special amine that acts as a neutralizing and co-dispersing agent, suitable for low odor ink formulation, reducing the final formulation cost by redu- cing the pigment dosage. Ketjenflex 8 is a high thermal stability plasticizer and adhesion promoter produced by Axcentive, and consists of an FDA approved blend of ortho and n-ethyl toluene sulfonamide (OPTSA).” Abrafati is a great chance to strengthen relationships with customers and suppliers and identify new opportunities, says Costa. “In just a few days we were able to make a lot of good contacts. As for the paint market, we have a tendency towards more environmentally friendly products. Given the economic and political scenario, we do not see the expected business warm-up for the second half of the year, but our expectation for 2020 is good.” ALDORO Aldoro’s Stanlux brand of metallic pigments is recognized in the Brazilian and international markets for its batch consistency and product variety, says Commercial Manager Antonio Labecca Filho. “The Stanlux Silver, Stanlux Paste, Stanlux Pell and Stanlux Flake aluminumpigment lines and the Stanlux Gold glitter line are well known in the market. We maintain a very solid work of technical and commercial partnership with our customers, which provides continuous product development and adjustments. So during Abrafati 2019wewill officially launch some new Stanlux metallic pigments that resulted from this work.” The Stanlux Silver line is treated as a priority and is expanding year by year to offer a wide range of competitive products with full use of high performance non-leafing aluminum pigments. Such expansion is mainly due to the advantages of local produc- tion, prices in Brazilian Reais, flexibility and logistic ease for the household market, reveals Labecca Filho. “Aldoro promotes this line of paints for automotive, refinish, OEM, auto parts (metal and plastic) applications, and others, such as can coating or industrial painting. We will also be launching new alternatives on the Stanlux Pell and Paste lines, with new options for plastics masterbatch application.” ALMAD In 2019, Almad celebrates its 28th anniversary. “Abrafati gives us the opportunity to celebrate another anniversary with our customers and partners. As we believe in renewal, growth and sustainability, we thus invite you to join us in the next stage of our journey. Today we consoli- date our activity in the industrial market with products of our own manufacture and distribution, being present in the local and international markets,” says Daniel Castro, Almad’s Commercial Manager. Castro also called attention to the origin of the company’s name. “Alma (soul) is the origin of our name, because we believe that the desire to prosper and work things well comes from the soul. We have completed another work and identity-building cycle, and we want our cus- tomers to be part of our history.”
