triesand1,135exhibitorsfrom40countries,theEuropeanCoatings
Show2017wasbiggerandmoreinternationalthaneverbefore.The
showcontinuestoexpand itspositionasthe leadingeventforthe
globalcoatings industry.InanexpandedspaceatExhibitionCentre
Nuremberg, theexhibiting companies presented innovative and
newproductsandservices foreveryaspectofpaint, coatingsand
sealantproduction.TheEuropeanCoatingsShowConferencewas
justaspopular,withover840participantsfromabout50countries,
settinganother record for thishub fordiscussionamongcoatings
researchersanddevelopers.
Thenext EuropeanCoatingsShowwill beheldat theExhibition
CentreNuremberg fromMarch 19 to 21, 2019. Heldeveryother
year, theEuropeanCoatings Show reflects theentirepaint and
coatingssupplychain,andoffers itsvisitorsacomprehensiveview
ofdevelopmentandproduction. Inaddition to rawmaterials for
paints,printing inksandadhesives,exhibitorsalsodisplay labora-
toryandproductiontechnologies,aswellastestingandmeasuring
instruments.
The2017editionoftheEuropeanCoatingsShowfilledsevenhalls
andboastedamoreextensiveinternationalpresencethanever.In
additiontooneChinesepavilion,thegrouppavilionsoftheCzech
RepublicandtheRepublicofKoreaprovidedanoverviewoftheir
particularnations.YounginnovativecompaniesfromGermanyput
ontheirexhibitionsatajointpavilionfundedbytheFederalMinistry
forEconomicAffairsandEnergy (BMWi). Productpresentations
takingupthreehallsofferedshorttalksbyexhibitorswithadditio-
nalspecializedknowledgeaboutuses,effectsandtechnicaldata.
Withmore than840participants, the EuropeanCoatings Show
Conferencewas evenmore heavily attended than in previous
years.Morethan 140specializedpresentationsby internationally
renowned speakers addressed theproductionof paints, sealing
compounds,constructionchemicalsandadhesives.Thefocuswas
oncurrentneeds likefunctionalityandenvironmentalprotection,
amongotherthemes.

USPCollodion(anitrocellulose-basedsolutionforliquidwound

plierofnitrocellulose-basedchemicalsolutions.
