divided into53categories, 39ofwhich for suppliersof raw

Theawardpresentation forthisyearcomesalongwithtwo
new developments. The first is that a new rawmaterial
categoryhasbeenadded, so isocyanate suppliersarenow

includedthecategory“AutomotiveCoatings(OEM&Refin-
ish)”,which,startingthisyear,hasbeensplit into“Automo-
tiveOEMCoatings”,and“AutomotiveRefinishCoatings”.
The grandparty inhonor of thewinners of the 21st Paint
&PinturaAwards is takingplaceover dinner onMay 12, at
EspaçoVila dos Ipês, in SãoPaulo, and representatives of
theentirecoatingssupplychainwillbeattending, including
majorpersonalities,keysuppliersofrawmaterials,andpaint
companies,aswellas leadersofthe industry’schiefentities.

federal government has recently taken,which involvefiscal and
monetarypolicies,amongothers.However,ambitiousreformsand
thoroughanti-corruption initiativeshaveyettobeset inmotion if
Brazil isreallygoingtoresumeeconomicgrowth.
The IMF expects Brazil’s gross domestic product (GDP) togain
0.2percentthisyear,andhasalsoreviewed itseconomicgrowth
forecast fornext yearup from 1.5 to 1.7percent. As for inflation
and interest rates, bothare falling in thecourseof thisyear, the
lattermorerapidlyso.
Thenewshereonlygoestoshowthatour industry ismovingeven
fastertowardssustainablegrowth.
