Established in November 1999 and headquartered
in São Caetano do Sul, São Paulo, Politech is cele-
brating 10 years of activity in engineering, provi-

ronment, the company
provides customers with
solutions in waste treat-
ment and also to reduce
the consumption of ener-
gy from non-renewable
sources, which contributes to the economics of the
process and especially to the environment. “We
cover everything from lighting to water reuse, in-
cluding in washing systems, always in compliance
with the applicable standards and certifications,”
Silva explains.
Horos Química opens owned headquarters
Horos Química da Amazônia, manufacturer of the
Citycolor paints, opened on August 7 its owned
headquarters in the Manaus Industrial District.
Serving manufacturers of paints, mortars, varni-
shes and complements for industrial and construc-
tion applications for five years, the company has
invested R$ 3 million in its new facilities, including
land ownership, construction, remodeling, adap-
tations and equipment.
Located in the high-end Industrial District, the
new headquarters have a covered area of 3,000
square meters on a land that covers 12,000 square
meters altogether. In
addition to its stra-
tegic location, which
provides convenient
access incoming and
outgoing trucks, is
one of the rewards
that the manufactu-
rer is reaping from
the move. “Now the
company has bet-
ter logistics, more
storage room for raw
materials and fini-
shed goods, and more
space to expand,”
says Benjamin Saul
Banchimol, chief exe-
cutive officer, Horos
Química da Amazô-
nia, adding that the
company’s capacity
currently amounts
to 500,000 liters per
shift.
Lanxess bets on Brazil
