razil was one of the last countries in the world to feel the effects of the economic crisis, as well as one
of the first to bounce back, in spite of the failure to achieve a satisfactory GDP growth rate, which
is expected to be below 2 percent. But the economy continues to recover, as does the industrial sector,
particularly the paint and coatings industry.
How could we have foreseen that a third-world country would summon strengths to get over such a

ved in 2008, 2010 will prove to be a year of high hopes for the world, with a potential full recovery from the crisis,
economic rebound, and significant growth in all sectors. This forecast is further corroborated when we remember
the major events that are about to take place and will be icons of such achievement, such as the 2010 elections,
the 2014 FIFA World Cup, and the 2016 Olympic Games. May loads of investments come to Brazil!
We wish a 2010 full of good news and success to you all!
