Adexim-Comexim
At Abrafati 2011, Adexim-Come-
xim will be launching its hybrid
accelerated weathering/aging
equipment and demonstrating
various applications of its 60-per-
cent solids, waterborne polyure-
thane dispersion for rubber effect,
soft-touch finishes.
In addition to new products,
the company keeps continuously
improving its customer service
and supply of performance raw
materials and equipment. “We
provide our traditional range of
equipment and raw materials,
such as light chambers, homoge-
nizers/laboratory mills, dispersers,
multifunctional additives, mineral
thickeners, calcium carbona-
tes, titanium dioxide extenders,
treated kaolin, barium and barite
sulfate, talc, mica, hollow cera-
mic microbeads, environment-
-friendly anticorrosive additives,
glass flakes for extra corrosion
protection, FDA-approved non-to-
xic antimicrobial additives, flow
agents, high-technology resins
and specialties for UV/EB-curing
systems and powder coatings,”
says Carlos Russo, Director at
Adexim-Comexim.
Adexim-Comexim will be toge-
ther with the companies that it
represents and will hold meetings
previously scheduled with any
interested visitors. “On November
18, 2011 we will hold our tech-
nical seminar once again at the
company’s headquarters in São
Paulo,” Russo points out.

Agecom Anti 92 MT is the lat-
est addition to Agecom’s product
range for the paint industry. “This
defoamer prevents foam forma-
tion during the paint and/or resin
production process, while ensur-
ing a better spread for roller-ap-
plied coating films, rapidly break-
ing any bubbles formed during
the application. In addition, the
product neither interferes with
washability nor cause pigments
to re-flocculate, while preventing
rub-outs,” says Agecom’s sales di-
rector Maurício de Oliveira Júnior.
Agecom is also bringing to Abra-
fati 2011 its line of aliphatic
solvents, which includes tur-
pentines, hexanes and SPB, and
environment-friendly hydrogenat-
ed solvents, such as ECO 145-120
and ECO 175-235. In addition, the
company will showcase its line of
industrial lubricants.
Agro Química Maringá
Agro Quimica Maringá’s sales to
the paint industry account for a
significant part of its revenues,
and Abrafati 2011 will enable
the company to strengthen its
image in the marketplace, as it
approaches the celebrations of its
44 years of existence. “Maringá
has been investing in infrastruc-
ture, particularly to expand our
truck fleet and upgrade our tank
storage plant. For us, the trade
show is an excellent opportunity
to meet with both existing and
potential customers and suppli-
ers. In addition to our well-known
products, we are promoting new
items, such as pentaerythritol and
neopentyl glycol, a new genera-
tion of “green” coalescing agents
and solvents, and new iron oxide
pigment grades from Lanxess,”
