themarketplace to new technologies for packaging appli-

by considering with more propriety the attributes of con-

a better job packing their products, with a positive impact
on sales,” says Cerviflan’s chief executive officer Vicente
Lozargo Filho.
In any selection ofmetal packaging suppliers, cost is often
one of the prevailing criteria—and sometimes the prevai-
ling one. Cerviflan wants to change this picture and has
taken important steps accordingly. July 2011 sawCerviflan,
a companywithannual turnover inexcess of R$ 220million,

helping the industry create and improve can specifications:
The Can University. It’s been three editions of the job
training program since then, with more than 120 professionals
certified, and for this year’s edition, Cerviflan provided a novel
program entirely focused on the world of aerosols.
