into eight categories: resins, solvents, fillers, pigments, addi-
tives,packagingmaterials, fastestgrowth,andtransportation.
Theevaluationbegan in July2013andwas concluded in June
2014. Throughquarterly reports, bothsuppliersandSherwin-
Williams areprovidedwith informationonperformance and
theactions tobe implemented to improveservicesprovided.
Suppliers are assessed according to five criteria, namely,
processquality,productquality,productdelivery,billing, and
customerservice.The idea istoencouragesupplierstoprovide
an excellent service at several stages, frommaterial quality
to delivery at the factory, which reflects on the quality of a
company’sproducts.
