heatexchangefluidisalreadyaddressedbyValspar’scorporate
procedures,especiallytoensuresafety, sustainabilityandeco-
nomyinourprocesses,”explainsWagnerBatista,maintenance
andengineeringcoordinatoratValspar.
Valspar’s resinproductionprocess requiresheat for thepoly-
merizationprocess,which isprovidedbyheatexchangefluid
heaterswhereoil has to circulate through the system so the
heatexchangecan takeplace, according toBatista. “OurSão

TherminolatAraçariguama,asit’sbeen15yearssincewe’vebeen
operatingwiththisheatexchangefluidfromEastman,andithas
proved itsefficiency,safetyandgoodoperation.”
